During the summer of 2018, Avalon undertook an assessment of the management of a three-dealership motor retail business operating in the North of England.  The brief was to identify the ‘ideal’ leadership and organisation structures and to advise the owner and the Board on best management practice.

Through a combination of structured interviews and profiling, Avalon concluded that a revised structure was required. This involved the appointment of a Non-Executive Director as Managing Director and revision of the positions of two existing senior managers as Heads of Operations and Finance respectively.  The Consultancy also advised on communication, vision and values as well as branding and the approach to market.

Avalon supported the owner and the Board in the communication and implementation of the recommendations.
